NPP National Youth Organizer, Salam Mustapha says Dr. Bawumia is the preferred candidate of all well meaning Ghanaians.
Salam Mustapha believes Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has distinguished himself to Ghanaians with ideas to transform Ghana.
"We have a presidential candidate who is sympathetic and empathetic towards the plight of Ghanaians. He is knowledgeable and full of ideas to address the concerns of Ghanaians,” Salam Mustapha advanced.
He made this comment while campaigning in the Kpandai constituency. The National Youth Organiser thus urged the youth to campaign actively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
"You are the young people who can help us win the election. We need to go all out and leave no stone unturned," Salam Mustapha asked the youth.
The commander of the NPP youth wing further urged the youth to vote for their parliamentary candidates.
In Kpandai, he campaigned actively for Matthew Nyindam who was voted out in 2020 to be re-elected.
Salam Mustapha stressed that Matthew Nyindam was only voted out because of disagreements between party faithful but has outperformed his successor, the NDC MP.
He thus asked the youth to vote massively for Matthew Nyindam.
He noted that the party’s victory in the 2024 polls is hinged on the actions of party faithful.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not pose any threat to the NPP as far as the polls are concerned.
"The only thing that is going to stop the NPP from winning the election in December is the NPP. The election we are going into, the NDC is not our problem," he said.
"The NDC is not stronger than us, they are not better than us and they cannot use force to take it from us," he added.
"In the very unlikely event that we lose, we are going to suffer the most. Because we are the very same people who are going to work and chase power again."
