Ghanaian star actress, Jackie Appiah joined a list of top film stars from across the world at the opening ceremony of the 65th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday afternoon.
The actress, who wore an elegant hand beaded Kente dress by JiL, certainly brought some Ghanaian colours onto the red carpet all the way in the South of France.
Among some of the top actresses that made an appearances at the opening were Berenice Bejo, Eva Longoria, Jessica Chastain, Freida Pinto, Jane Fonda, Diane Kruger, Singer Lana Del Rey, supermodel Eva Herzigova and Tilda Swinton. They were all gussied up and camera-ready as they walked around the arrivals area.
Representing the guys were Alec Baldwin (with fiance Hilaria Thomas), Chris Pine, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Ewan McGregor, and Bill Murray.
