Jackie Appiah, Ghana’s pride in the “make believe” industry, has once again scored another feat among her peers in both the Ghana and Nigerian movie industries as the renowned actress has taken her craft to Hollywood.
Patience Ozorkwor, one of Nigeria’s sought after actresses, is also not left out of the “race”.
They are presently on set for a new Hollywood feature film, titled “Turning Point,” a production of Hekcentrik productions.
The movie, which is being produced and directed by Niyi Towolawi, CEO of Hekcentrik productions, and co-producer by Egor Efioke, CEO of 4EPR, is set in New York and features Hollywood stars like Lauren London, Ernie Hudson, Todd Bridges, Cynda Williams and Joe Estevez.
It has a plot that bothers on the ethnic prejudice among various black communities and what they go through to survive such harsh conditions.
The filming which commenced in mid-October in America, also had the crew visiting Nigeria for some scenes to be shot there.
