The close of work on Wednesday January 15, 2014 would be the deadline for submission of works for the 10th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAAs).
Organizers had earlier invited filmmakers to enter their feature, short and documentary works for consideration for the prestigious 2014 AMAAs.
Nominations would be announced in the first week of March.
The 2014 edition of AMAAs will re-emphasize its objective of honouring and celebrating the best in the art of filmmaking and the professionals who make the industry the pride of Africa.
It is unclear which films made it from Ghana but works eligible for entries include feature length films, shorts and documentaries produced, premiered or released between May 2012 and December 2013.
Features may not exceed 120 minutes and shorts not longer than 40 minutes.
