This year’s edition of the Exopa Fashion Weekend lived beyond expectation as the show did not only showcase best of the best African designs and glamorous catwalks by models of Exopa, but also came out with some amazing arts from the best of Ghana’s music fraternity.
The four-day event which seeks to explore, boost interest and showcase talents within the Ghanaian fashion industry and the world over, also saw Ghanaian musicians showcasing their well-standardized arts to worldwide TV cameras with some raving performances to the excitement of fans.
The musical aspect of the fashion event saw the likes of Kwaw Kese, the Abodam crooner, Sarkodie, Chempe, 5five, Joe of Mentor fame, Iwan Quata, Ayigbe Edem, Kweku T&D’ Black among others mount the stage at various times to perform some of their various rhythms.
Sarkodie and Kwaw Kese were the first to mesmerize fans during the event’s opening ceremony. This was followed by the performance of Kweku T&D’ Black on the second day.
Joe, Iwan, 5five and Chempe continued the heat on Friday (which was the third day) to prepare the stage for the last day, Saturday. Quata also had his term on Saturday, unleashing his ‘Baby’ rhythms. Kwaw Kese and Edem proved to be the best on that night as they were able to move the audience who reacted to their performances with loud cheers.
