A dooms day really befall No Tribe last Saturday at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) when the award winning gospel group decided to put together their first ever concert to mark the release of their latest album One God.

The concert which was dubbed No Tribe One God Live Album Release Concert was recorded in books as the first ever No Tribe own produced concert in Ghana.

Some of the artistes who were on the bill to support No Tribe included Cwesi Oteng, Kwabena Kwabena, Minister O.J., Koda, PL Crew whilst special appearances were to be made by Ahuofe Patri and Kalybos with DKB as the MC of the night. Truth be told, the pre planning activities of the concert including media publicity and promotion were par excellent as No Tribe left no stone unturned in making sure every Tom, Dick and Harry got to know about the concert.

On that fateful day which was last Saturday, the concert had organizational issues where a power sources which was serving the logistics providers failed to work in full capacity leading to power fluctuations. The fluctuations continued until it could not power the equipments available so there was the need to fix the situation. Unfortunately, the fixing of that power issue took almost three hours, by then the show was actually supposed to close at that time.

No Tribe in their wisdom with their supporters and the artistes mounted the stage and pleaded that the patrons forgive them and that what happened was beyond their strength to overcome. Listen to Nacys words alongside singing at the failed concert for last Saturdays mess.

What I am about to say is with a very heavy heart I must confess. But I still have to say something because it has happened. I guess we here have all seen what has happened with the power issue and now that it has been fixed, we feel it is too late to start the show. So we are pleading a postponement of the show whilst telling you that a new date will be set soon for the concert Nacy told the unhappy revelers last Saturday.

He also assured those who had tickets to keep them since they see it as a support from their fans to them knowing very well. It is not too clear when the next concert will come off but Nacy had told this paper that the new date will still be set for the real deal. Meanwhile, No Tribe is apologetic to all who bought tickets and came to North Legon out of their busy schedules yet could not enjoy performances from No Tribe.
