Hiplife Singer, Barima Sidney has indicated that he is set to come out with a gospel track.
Speaking on Adom TV, Sidney reiterated that he will soon be out with a gospel single which he featured Ceci Twum.
“I’m coming out with a gospel song and I know it will do very good when it’s finally out. I featured the amazing Ceci Twum, I chose to involve her in my song because I like her music and I respect her.”
The ‘Apuskeleke’ hit singer added that he uses his music mainly as a tool to address social and political ills, which over the years has sometimes landed him in trouble; however he remained committed to pursuing that course because he believes that is his calling.
Barima Sydney is one of the very few musicians aside Reggie Rockstone to start the hiplife genre in the mid 90’s and has been doing close to two decades of Hiplife.
