Propelling the talent of Ghanaian female artistes has become problematic due to the perception of intimacy with their managers, renowned record label owner Ogidi Brown has said.
The issue of female artistes having an affair with their managers has become a topical issue in the showbiz circles especially after top female artiste Wendy Shay walked out of a show after being asked about her "relationship" with her manager, Bullet.
But according to Ogidi Brown who spotted sensational musician Fameye, he has come across numerous female acts who are very talented but doesn't often want to sign them due to negative perception that comes along.
"The perception of intimacy out there has affected numerous talented female artistes and it is killing their talents.
"I would love to sign a female artiste but sometimes I think about what people would say even though such things might not even have occurred.
"For me I think we should dwell on the talent of our female artistes and not invade on their private lives and I think it is not even wrong to have a relationship with your manager," he told Ghana News Agency.
Ogidi Brown, the owner of the OGB record label who doubles as a musician recently released his third single of the year titled "Bisa" and has since made waves considering the vibes.
