Lil Wayne will soon speak through the pages of a book instead of the songs of an album, as the rapper has lined up a memoir about his time in prison.

The Young Money star served an eight month stint at Rikers Island in 2010 for a gun charge, and was released in November of that year. While imprisoned, he kept a series of journals, and those writings will be compiled for a book entitled "Gone Till November," Billboard reports.

Set to be released on November 28, "Gone Till November" will reveal the rapper's thoughts about his family, his past, the people he's encountered and his future plans.

Says Ben Greenberg, executive editor of Grand Central Publishing, "We are thrilled to be publishing Wayne's prison memoir. He kept detailed journals of his inner and outer life while he was on Rikers Island, and they certainly tell a story."
