Egyptian-Sudanese Kola Boof was born on March 3, 1972 in Nile River in Omdurman, Sudan to an Egyptian archeologist Harith Bin Farouk and his Somalian wife Jiddi who were murdered in front of her when she was six. Boof�s real name (Naima Bint Harith) was given up for adoption by her grandmother because she believed her granddaughter�s skin color was too dark to be raised by her Arab family.
She first live in London with a family from Ethiopia, who later send to the United Stated where a family in Washington finally adopted her. Kola came back to Africa in her teenage years. She has written many books and novels like Flesh and the Devil, Nile River Woman: The Very First Poems, The Sexy Part of the Bible, Virgins In the Beehive, Long Train to the Redeeming Sin and her autobiography Diary Of A Lost girl published in 2006. Kola is the mother of two sons.
The rumors about her being Djimon Hounsou�s mistress and lover was first reported in January by the Bossip website, when they found some of her tweets suggesting she was having an affair with the actor. Kola Boof who once said she was the mistress of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden, is now telling people she was Djimon Hounsou�s girlfriend and lover during his relationship with Kimora Lee Simmons. Boof also said that she was the reason of their split and that she only got involved with the Blood Diamond actor as part of her revenge against Kimora.
