The just ended maiden edition of Bass Awards has played a major role in giving Shatta Wale at lot of attention and giving him a positive outlook. Shata Wale used Bass Awards; the only awards scheme which fully recognizes the kind of music he does to overturn all the negativity into positive.
He used the platform to apologize to Samini and Kaakie to win a lot more following, to make his song more popular and show the whole world what he can do on stage.
Shata who was not known for talking about his private life or going public with his family pulled off a surprise by bringing his girlfriend and his mother to the Bass Awards night on Saturday July 6, 2013.
