Tattoos have always been part of entertainment or show business for so many years especially in the western world. In Africa, tattoos didnt really form part of culture particularly in Ghana.
However, tattoos are gaining strength at this part of our world and gradually becoming part of our fashion and general lifestyle in recent times especially among the youth.
About two decades ago, one could not even count up to ten Ghanaian celebrities i.e. Musicians, Movie stars, soccer stars, among other public figures with tattoos but currently in Ghana most celebrities have several tattoos in different sizes and shapes inked on their body some of which are at hidden places, almost making it look as though if you dont have a tattoos you would not be counted.
Tattoos sometimes force some celebrities to expose part of their body only to show off their tattoos.
While few Ghanaian celebrities who are against tattoos like Martha Ankomah has openly spoken against it, stating that "anybody who has tattoos will go to hell", most of our stars have more than two tattoos and are still thinking of adding more.
Peacefmonline.com has gathered some Ghanaian celebrities who have permanent ink on their skin and how it looks on them.
