Beautiful Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari and her Actor boyfriend Jim Iyke had a �no-show� at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra yesterday morning, Thursday December 12, 2013.
Nadia invited several Journalists to have a unique opportunity to watch her first self-produced movie �The Diary of Imogen Brown� at a press screening, for them to be able to review and publicize the movie before the main premiere. However, to the disappointment of media men gathered there, Nadia and her team could not show the movie as planned.
When everybody was seated and ready to see the movie, Ato Turkson of Choice FM who was the MC announced that they were facing some technical challenges so they would not be able to show the movie. He apologized and told the Journalists to watch the one minute 16 seconds trailer and ask questions.
Nadia, who was accompanied by her Actor boyfriend Jim Iyke and her mother Hajia, expressed her regret for not showing the movie and had a brief question and answer session with the media but they tried as much as they could to �swerve� questions about their supposed love affair.
She promised that everything will be sorted out for the movie to be premiered on December 23 for everybody at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Asked about her role in the movie Nadia said she played the lead role �Imogen Brown� a drug addict whose situation almost got out hands until she was saved by her real life boyfriend Jim Iyke who also played her boyfriend in the movie.
Nadia said she has always had a passion for film directing aside acting. She spoken about producing her own movie and �The Diary of Imogen Brown� is obviously her first shot at it.
Jim Iyke on his part expressed joy and satisfaction, working with Nadia as a Director and an actress on set. He described the movie as very educative, captivating and one the touches on real life situations.
About The Movie....
Imogen Brown, a successful business woman who had all what most women will wish for, an incredibly beautiful daughter, a great home, a diamond business empire and a handsome boyfriend. Unknowing to her, her envious boyfriend, Tyler Graham, who had been having an affair with two of Imogen�s closest friends, was only interested in her wealth.
After many failed attempts of persuading Imogen to marrying him so he could take over her company, he decides to walk out on their six years relationship. In trying to get over the pain of heartbreak, she meets Stanley Coleman who introduces her to all kinds of drugs and as a result becomes an addict. The mind-blowing saga continues�

�Diary of Imogen Brown� will be premiered on Monday 23rd December 2013 at the Conference Center in Accra and on Tuesday 24th December at the Akroma Plaza, Takoradi.
