The ‘Celebrity car wash’ organized by Okyeame Kwame to raise funds to fight against the spread of Hepatitis B came off at the Cahaya Car Spa located at East Legon yesterday July 20, 2014.

The campaign, which was under the theme: ‘Eradicating Hepatitis B’, brought together celebrities like Okyeame Kwame, Naa Ashorkor, Raquel, Richie, Mzvee, Stone and others to wash people’s cars in order to raise funds to support the Hepatitis B project.

Bola Ray, Van Vicker, and Kwame Sefa Kayi among a host of other known faces on Sunday turned up at the Cahaya Car Spa in East Legon to lend support to Okyeame Kwame’s Hepatitis B Campaign.

The celebrities took turns to wash cars of customers, to raise funds for the campaign to add to the usual free screening and education, free vaccination of 1000 Ghanaians on July 26, 2014 at Mantse Abgoona in James Town, Accra and the foundation is working towards achieving this.

Drawn from the radio, television, music, sports and movie industries, they got their hands dirty in solidarity with one of their own.

Others included TV Host/Producer Ama K Abebrese, rising sweetheart of Ghanaian music MzVee, Caroline Sampson, Kafui Dey, Choirmaster and his wife Beverly Afaglo, Sammy B, Elikem, Actor Adjetey Annan, former Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah and Jessica of Citi FM.
