An Accra Human Rights court has granted Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD), a popular Ghanaian TV star bail.
He was denied bail on two occasions and was admitted at the Police Hospital with a swollen foot.
He was granted bail on health grounds.
According to PEACE FM correspondent, Agya Kwabena, Justice Kofi Essel Mensah who presided on the case granted KKD bail on the sum of GHC 20,000 with two sureties,
KKD was arrested after he allegedly raped a nineteen year old girl; Ewureffe Thompson.
He admitted to having sex with Miss Thompson but vehemently denied raping her. On Tuesday, 13th January, 2015, the alleged victim said she was no longer interested in the case.
According to Orleans Thompson, she wants to reorganise her life adding that "God will serve her justice".
