She can afford to be at the Old Trafford to watch any match of her fond club Manchester United at any time – but unfortunately she is facing public ridicule after a selfie she posted from Old Trafford last Saturday when the “Red Devils” played Sunderland.
Ghana’s most eloquent newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah of TV3 is trending on social media for “picture theft” – the picture she posted according to some picture evidence was taken by a Manchester United diehard fan who was at Old Trafford to witness United’s 3-0 win.
Nana Aba who is a Twitter freak posted on her handle a selfie and other pictures purporting to be in Old Trafford – with further tweets confirming that she took the pictures with perhaps her smart IPhone 6plus phone.
Her 163, 000 Twitter followers knowing her love for the ‘Red Devils’ and her appearance at the Old Trafford tweeted to congratulate her as a passionate fan.
While her tweets with the handle name JUAN MATA'S BAE a Verified account @thenanaaba seem to show that she was actually in England - her location also says others, possibly the settings was wrong.
However, the mood went sour when a group of young men alleged that the photos Nana Aba was displaying were theirs – they proved with similar pictures of what Nana Aba posted.
The owner of the pictures, Yanfo Hackman @yhackman allerted by his friend that the TV3 newscaster was using his pictures ad claiming ownership.
“@thenanaaba lol how come you’re posting pics [pictures] from people’s snapchat as if you were at OT taking pics of the players didn’t show your face” Sofa Coach, a friend to the owner of the pictures tweeted.
Adding that – “@yhackman @adri1jnr have you seen your pictures with the players at OT that @thenanaaba is claiming are hers lol”
Nana Aba after posting the alleged stolen pictures tweeted – “Fans jumped barricades to take selfies with the players...my players. I was saying to myself 'you're a lady don't jump'. I'm such a fool”
The tweets has ever since trended on social media with mimic pictures of the award winning broadcaster even with Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah with his wife among others.
Nana Aba is however yet to respond to the alleged theft pictures satirical comments from the public mostly her own followers on twitter.
