Highlife legend Abrantie Amakye Dede was the star of the day as he put up a brilliant show during this year’s West Africa Security Service Association (WASSA) celebration of the Ashanti Regional Police Command in Kumasi on Friday.
His excellent performance during the event sent most top police officers to the dancing floor.
Amakye Dede used the occasion to thank the Ghana Police Service (GPS), particularly IGP John Kudalor, DCOP Kofi Boakye and other top police chiefs for their support when he was involved in a gory car crash.
The WASSA celebration also attracted top movie stars in the country.
Comedian Abenkwan also spiced the event with his rip-cracking jokes which sparked spontaneous laughter from the audience.
Ashanti Regional Minister John Alexander Ackon and Brigadier General Joseph Adu Boampong, the Commanding Officer, Central Command of the Ghana Armed Forces, were also there to make the occasion grand.
