Ghanaian musician Mzbel has established an initiative BELCARE Foundation to reach out to deprived young girls in the country.
This is part of efforts aimed at promoting her charitable efforts targeted at improving the lives of deprived young girls in selected communities across the country
The BELCARE Foundation is a social enterprise which seeks to empower, pay school fees and provide school supplies for vulnerable young girls within the Jamestown Community.
Jamestown and Bukom communities especially are dear to Mzbel because she reportedly spent her formative years within those communities.
Currently, the BELCARE initiative has enrolled 16 girls in schools to help give them sound education in life.
The BELCARE Foundation will seek to build strategic partnerships with corporate bodies and institutions in expanding the project.
