Veteran gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong has called on Ghanaians to stop asking musicians to sing peace songs and rather demand fairness in the upcoming elections.
According to him, the nation already has peace “so what we need as we go into the election is fairness, truth and transparency.”
Speaking to Happy FM Showbiz Extra Saturday, the “Aposor” hit maker said there is no sense in seeking for peace when peace is already existing.
The Gospel icon added that, the only thing that can mar the peace in the country is war adding “war becomes inevitable when a group of persons feel cheated. Therefore what Ghana needs is fairness in the election so we can continue to enjoy our peace.”
