Ace Actor Alexander Kofi Adu known as Agya Koo has vehemently debunked news buzzing on the social media and the traditional media that he has been arrested for drug trafficking.
According to him, he is not a drug dealer and has never been one hence the report was fabricated to malign his credential.
There was a report that Agya Koo has been arrested by security operatives at the Heathrow Airport in London.
The story stated that Agya Koo was arrested carrying cocaine weighing 11.5kg valued at several hundred thousand pounds.
Kofi Adu went through screening procedures at the Kotoka International Airport without any problems but was busted in London. He was arrested by border officials after questioning.
Agya Koo has been charged with attempting to import a class "A" drug.
But speaking as a guest on Ashh Fm outdoor morning show dubbed ‘Road to Victory' on Monday, November 7, 2016, Agya Koo rubbished the said report and called on his fans to treat it with the contempt it deserves .
He told Odeefour Kwasi Kay host of the show that, he has not travelled outside Ghana for the past three months and he finds it difficult to understand this fictitious news buzzing around social media.
"I'm here with you at Suame Magazine so if someone is reporting that I have been arrested what are the motives behind this concocted story?"
Agya Koo who smells something fishy about this story pointed out that the story was cooked by his political antagonists.
