Since the beginning of the year, a number of celebs have publicly announced their support for the various political parties and their flagbearer and former runner up of 2011 Ghana's Most Beautiful (GMB), Jacqueline Akweley is no diffrent.
Akweley lost her Ablekuma West Constituency primaries to Diana Twum during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries in August has called on Ghanaians to vote for President John Dramani Mahama for his massive developmental projects in the country.
In an interview with the Graphic Showbiz on the sidelines of Mrs Benita Sena Okity-Duah's Ledzokuku Constituency NDC campaign launch last Sunday, Akweley noted that President Mahama deserves a second term to continue with his infrastructural development for the country.
Akweley said "It is so clear that Ghanaians must vote for President Mahama to retain power to continue with the good work.
"I urge the youth to vote massively for the NDC so they can realise their infrastructual development dreams in the country. I decided to enter into politics to serve my people," she added.
When asked about her decision to come and support Mrs Okity-Duah, Akweley explained that she decided to throw her support to the former beauty queen who she emulates.
She told Showbiz that her decision to venture into politics was to serve her people and also to project her constituency in becoming one of the best in the country.
She noted that she is keen on helping her party retain power in the December polls and ready to campaign despite losing her primaries.

After Ghana's most beautiful u thought u could have gone to the parliament house so u decided to go and context but no wonder u lost that primaries cos nothing good can come from u per what u are saying, Mahama is going so u can go and help him pack his things. The youth are wise wai
You and your entire family are not upto 100 mpo so if u vote for him who cares about that one, democracy and that is what we respect so go ur own way. As for funny no wonder that comment cos NDC's were those who started and they will continue to get it back. Akweley could have said she and her family will vote for JM by not involving the better youth who think better and not like herself, hw3 ono nsoso......we are voting JM out masively so if u dont understand then go and drown in the odawna river or go sleep at the lavinda heel

Kwame, who care if you and your generation vote for the d-e-ad g-o-a-t of a president. If you are employed by your employer and your remuneration is not good for you, you just find another job. It is not all who will leave. Everyone has his or her sentiment.

Woow! 10 comments below and you can feel the anger in people's write up. These are all signs to the EC to play it fairly come December 7 because the centre won't hold if the people smell anything fishy.
