After a whole year of competitive electioneering campaign, Ghanaians went to the polls on Wednesday, December 7 to elect a new president and new parliamentarians.
The campaign saw a lot of beautiful faces playing significant roles and a few of such faces which would remain on the minds of Ghanaians who monitored the elections. These include the Chairman on the Electoral Commission (EC), Mrs Charlotte Osei, the First Lady Lordina Mahama, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of Nana Akufo-Addo, Yvonne Nduom, wife of Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, the presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s party (PPP) and Samira Bawumia, wife of Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the incoming vice president.
