High flying yet controversial musician Shatta Wale (Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr) is celebrating God’s hand in his life Thursday morning.
The celebrated “dancehall king’ is asking his fans, and perhaps all who cares to read his Instagram posts, also in tweets, to never forsake God.
According to Wale, he had to grow up “from a place where nobody cared till God cared”.
“Dont judge me but see the manifestation the good Lord brought to my Life and never Forsake him..Good morning Ghana”, he posted.

An accompanying collage has Shatta Wale in an obviously "hustling mode" makeshift recording studio working at an old iMac, contrasted with a more recent, probably current studio set-up where he appears to be producing/recording someone behind the mic.
Shatta Wale is cooling down from a week of controversy and bashing at the hands of fans of Nigerian singer and songwriter, Wizkid, otherwise called Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, after he commented that the Nigeria was overhyped and not deserving the super star status accorded him.
Not unusual, there is a trail of reactions - mixed though from fans and admirers, and outright opponents.
