Popular gospel singer, Hannah Marfo has told the general public to help her raise an amount of Forty-three thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc43,000.00) needed to pay for her 17-year old daughter’s surgical bills.
According to her even though she is a musician by profession but she got nothing from the songs she produces all these years in the Ghanaian music industry.
Speaking in a recent interview on Hitz FM’s “This Gospel” show with Franky 5 stated that she was doing music to the service of God and her concentration was not on making money.
She added that getting enough money as a musician in Ghana these days is very difficult due to the introduction of pen drives and memory cards which helps people to easily get the songs without bringing any benefit to the singer.
