The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared an unseen picture of their son Archie in a highlight reel of their top moments of 2019.
Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, posted the video montage on New Year's Eve, choosing Coldplay's 2003 sombre track "Clocks" as the background song.
One of the shots in the video is of Prince Harry standing by a lake in what is thought to be their Canadian Christmas hideaway of Vancouver Island. He is seen smiling at his son Archie who he had in his arms.
Archie is dressed in a beanie hat, a beige anorak and little sheepskin boots gifted to them by the Australian Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
Sharing the post, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wrote:
Looking back at 2019...
“Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness.” - The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Special thanks to Chris Martin and @Coldplay for allowing us to use one of their songs.
The Coldplay song they used in the video includes the lyrics: "The lights go out and I can't be saved, Tides that I tried to swim against, Have brought me down upon my knees, Oh I beg, I beg and plead, singing".
Social media users who analyzed the video say the song which is about despair, hopelessness, and doubt could be a hint at what the royals are feeling.
