Former British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, has made jokes of the alleged sickness and arrest of Angel Daniel Obinim.
The ‘Angel’ is said to have been hospitalized after police stormed his church to invite him for interrogation for being complicit in an issue before the police.
The man of God who was conducting a counseling session according to reports upon seeing the officers, suddenly fell sick and couldn’t walk again.
He was rushed to the hospital with police escort.
Reacting to the dramatic development on his Twitter page, Jon Benjamin said there was no cause for alarm since Obinim’s trusted ‘angels’, Nimokafui and Ayantafri were on their way to fight for him.
He posted; #Obinim has been arrested??? I understand he’s being visited by his legal representatives, Messrs Nimokafui and Ayantafri. Or maybe he can turn into a snake and slither out of the police station?

You have to pray for him not to turn in your dreams Jon ! Lol
@Teddy, why are you taking this so personal? don't you have anything important doing?
@Teddy, you are very interesting
Poor Big Big, judging from your grammar and spellings, I will be charitable to you only by describing you as one of those who have sold their conscience to the White. Therefore to you everything White is superior. I will not be surprised when the next moment you are in your traditional cloth and enjoying your fufu* the White man will instruct you change the cloth and wear a shirt and eat salad; and you will gladly obey. You will agree with me that in the world today where it has become a global village, languages and culture do not know barriers - making countries spend billions to study other major languages. Maybe you don't know what diplomatic behaviour is. Let your Paramount Chief openly engage himself in Politics or go and fight in public and see what will happen to him next.
@ Teddy what do you mean?? is he not a humanbeen? Why are u typing in english and NOT twi? english is for them so nest time write your comments in twi,
Though I am not a fan of Obinim, I am not in favour of the attitude of Mr Jon Benjamin, the Fmr British High Commissioner to Ghana towards Bishop Obinim. Mr Benjamin has completely relegated his Diplomatic etiquettes to the dogs by stopping so low in joining the fray with the lower levels. Infact, there was nothing diplomatic about this man during his stay in Ghana. A High Commissioner who could be seen meddling openly in Ghana's politics and domestic affairs. A disgrace to the diplomatic fraternity. Pls Benjamin, come again.
