Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused D’banj of rape has released an official statement after she was arrested and detained by police.
According to her, she has lodged a criminal complaint to the police.
She stated that she filed a criminal complaint at the Gender Desk of Lagos Police Command in Ikeja on June 22.
Seyitan Babatayo claims she was threatened by the singer and his team following her decision to come out with her story.

In the statement, she gave the timeline of events that have transpired ever since going public with her story.
The accuser also stated that police disguised themselves as delivery men to gain access to her apartment and arrest her.
Seyitan Babatayo added that she was detained in police cells for 48 hours though not charged with any offence.
D’banj’s accuser added that she was only set free after she was made to sign a gag order by the police and singer.
