Pink FM has introduced a new programme to spice up the weekdays of its listeners in Accra and beyond. The new programme, ‘High Tension’, will highlight political, social and economic issues.
‘High Tension’, which will be aired in a local language, will feature seasoned political and social commentators who will elaborate on issues making the news. Listeners will be given the opportunity call into the programme to contribute.
The management decided to come out with this programme after a three-month research done by the station’s news editor, Prince Owusu Asiedu, who returned from the United State of America a couple of weeks ago.
According to the station’s management the programme has been introduced to complement the station’s exciting array of programmes, bearing in mind the needs of the station’s target audience and the offerings on the radio landscape.
Ace radio presenter of Pink 96.9FM, Awudu Alhassan, will host the programme, with David Simpson as the producer.
‘High Tension’ would be broadcast each and every Monday from 8:00pm to 10:00pm on Pink96.9fm.
