YFM Extends To Kumasi

Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that YFM, one of Ghana’s biggest radio stations for the youth and young at heart, has spread its tentacles to the Garden City of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The vibrant station, which is a subsidiary of Global Media Alliance (GMA) group of companies, replaces Anigyie FM, and according to sources, the decision was to meet its golden triangle vision, after its huge impact in the capital city Accra and the oil city Takoradi.

Having carved a niche for itself after few years in operation as the biggest entertainer of the youth, listeners in the Garden City would be thrilled with the best form of entertainment from new but experienced presenters and disk jockeys like Mike Smith and other vibrant ones.

This move is to create a stronger brand and position the station better within the region. Operators have assured listeners in Kumasi of exciting programs and events.
