Richie Mensah has recently announced via his social media pages that, LYNX GHANA Limited are now the owners of Multi TV, ZTV.
The channel is currently broadcasting to over 14 million viewers across Africa via the Multi TV and STRONG decoders and plans are far advanced to expand viewership even more this year with this new acquisition by LYNX.
According to Richie, ZTV is set to become Ghana’s first 24hour entertainment channel serving strictly entertainment and lifestyle content.
In the words of Richie, “We want those young people who would rather not watch TV because they find the content too boring or repetitive to finally have a channel they can enjoy 24/7 without getting bored. We are here to entertain.”
The multiple award winning singer, producer and songwriter, Richie Mensah, has achieved it all in the Ghanaian music industry; a prolific producer and artiste engineering major hits for himself such as “Frema” and “Yaaro” and also for many of the industry’s biggest acts; the driving and nurturing force behind the talents and careers of some of the most successful artistes of our time including, in recent times, the VGMA 2015 Artiste of the year nominee, MzVee.
In the last few years however, apart from the MzVee project, Richie, has been seen to swing more towards corporate endeavors, his company, Lynx Ghana Limited has gradually become an audio visual production powerhouse with interests in advertising and communications; and in 2013 they introduced the hugely popular LYNX TV show on Viasat1.
Currently on test transmission, ZTV will commence full programming from April, 2015 and from all indications will be giving existing channels a run for their money with sizzling hot and exclusive content covering music, world renowned series, movies, fashion, comedy and sports.
ZTV targets young adults looking for premium entertainment content to enjoy.
