The issue of 'payola' has been the talk of town for sometime now.
To some radio presenters, 'payola' simply is just more or less something �small�; a token just for appreciation. Lots of musicians have revealed over the years how radio presenters and DJ's have incessantly demanded 'payola' before they play their song.
On Celebrity Fanzone over the weekend, the issue of corruption here in Ghana was discussed to the maximum, and citing an example, Jessica Opare Saforo, who was the host revealed that she doesn�t take 'payola.'
According to her, if your song is nice, she plays it, but she neither demand payola nor take it, she again added that people have now known her to be that lady who just don�t and won�t take 'payola', so they don't even bother themselves to make any payola move.
Jessica is the host of late afternoon show on Citi FM.
