2015 Sprite Ball Draw: Ketasco Handed Easy Draw, TI Amass In Tricky Duel

Defending champions Keta Senior High have been handed a relatively easy draw ahead of the 2015 Sprite Ball finals after been paired against debutants Bompeh, Akosombo International and Accra High in group B.

Sunday’s draw on TV’3 Fast Break also pulled no punches in handing three-time champions Mfantsipim a tricky group duel against Prempeh College, Takoradi-based St John’s and new boys Sogakope Senior High in group D.

Last year’s losing finalists Presbyterian Boys Senior High are in pool A where they have drawn against Adisadel College, Kings College and debutant Mpraeso Senior High to wet an appetite.

Ashanti regional powerhouse Opoku Ware will play against wild card qualifying school Ghana Secondary Technical School as well as Pope John and Tema Senior High in group C.

In the girls division, defending champions TI Amass will have an enthralling contest after being drawn against former champions St Mary’s in pool A. Awudome and last year’s bronze medalist Mfantseman Girls completes the crack of teams in the group.

Last year’s losing finalists, Aggrey Memorial must contend with high-rising Nkawkaw Senior High, Ahantaman and Accra-based Labone Senior High.

The 2015 Sprite Ball championship is expected to attract record numbers with enthusiasm reaching fever pitch,

The draw was conducted on TV 3’s Fast Break hosted by Yaw Sakyi Afari and assisted by Chairman of the Ghana Basketball Association, David Addo-Ashong and an official of Coca-Cola Philip.

BOYS DIVISION

Group A: PRESEC, ADISADEL COLLEGE, KINGS COLLEGE, MPRAESO SHS

Group B: KETASCO, BOMPEH, ACCRA HIGH, AKOSOMBO INTERNATIONAL

Group C: OPOKU WARE, GSTS, TEMA SENIOR HIGH, POPE JOHN

Group D: MFANTSIPIM, ST JOHNS, PREMPEH COLLEGE, SOGAKOPE SENIOR HIGH

GIRLS DIVISION

GROUP A: TI AMASS, AWUDOME, MFANTSEMAN GIRLS, ST MARY’S

GROUP B: AGGREY MEMORIAL, NKAWKAW, AHANTAMAN, LABONE
