The Association of Sports for the Disabled (ASFOD) of the National Sports Council (NSC) has taken steps to streamline the activities of all sub-bodies under its jurisdiction.
The Association has called on such bodies, which are into sports promotion to register with ASFOD in a bid to weed out activities of charlatans from the system.
A release signed by Francis Adjetey Sowah, Vice President of ASFOD copied to GNA Sports said, the exercise is also to ensure a smooth and effective supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the sub-bodies.
The statement said the Association has put in place stringent measures to promote and develop disabled sports in Ghana and called on the various bodies to collaborate with the Association to allow sanity to reign.
The exercise will commence on Monday, March 15 to March 31, 2010.
