Cameroon ace Samuel Eto’o Fils has revealed that Inter Milan players missed Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari last season for his dressing room butt of jokes.
Muntari spent the second half of the season at English Premier League side Sunderland and will return to the San Siro. However, the 27-year-old is unlikely to stay at the dethroned Serie A and European champions after being linked Napoli, Sevilla and QPR.
Eto’o claims the Inter squad will be excited to have him at the club next season. ”We really miss him. All the other guys miss especially Lucio, Maicon and myself so it will be nice for him to return to the team again,” Eto’o said after playing in the Kanu Testimonial match.
“Sulley always calmed nerves in the dressing room ahead of games. Even in defeat he is able to calm our nerves with some of his funny jokes.”
