GHANA CHAMPIONS Berekum Chelsea will not emplane to Sudan for a training tour as speculated. The club was said to be planning a tour of the North African country for a short training tour.
Management has decided to cancel the trip at the eleventh hour, a source hinted. He cited fatigue on the part of the playing body as the reason for management�s decision to cancel the trip.
Berekum Chelsea made history by winning their first league title in the just ended Glo Premier League. The Berekum based club against all odds also pipped Kumasi Asante Kotoko to win the Presidential Cup.
The Sudan trip was aimed at straightening the rough edges of the team ahead of next season but tiredness on the part of the players has led to the cancellation of the trip.
