Floyd Mayweather has put his money where his mouth is after treating son Koraun to a Mercedes supercar for his 16th birthday – a year after urging fans to ‘stay on the look out’ for the present.
The boxing legend – whose retirement was confirmed last month – is a keen car admirer and regularly posts pictures of his new purchases on Instagram.
And the 38-year-old undefeated champion, who retired with a record of 49 wins – 26 by knockout – has splashed the cash to celebrate his son’s milestone birthday.
It comes a year after Mayweather treated his son to a Bentley golf cart for his 15th birthday and told his Instagram followers: ‘Stay on the look out for his gift for his 16th birthday.’
Mayweather has spent at least £30,000 on the Mercedes C-Class Coupe – which was presented to his son with a huge silver birthday bow on the bonnet.
Mayweather took to his Instagram page to post the picture, alongside the caption: ‘Happy birthday @KingKoraun Amir Mayweather. Love you, Champ.’
