French club Auxerre have enquired about Ghana international striker Junior Agogo, who is currently in dispute with his Egyptian club, Zamalek. According to L'Equipe, Auxerre are interested in the former Nottingham Forest centre-forward.
Since his contractual dispute with Zamalek, Agogo has interested several clubs in Europe, including Panionios of Greece, newly promoted Ligue 1 side Racing Club de Lens, German outfit Mainz and Turkish giants Besiktas.
Agogo has admitted some of this interest is true and has said he will soon decide on his future. The striker has reported Zamalek to FIFA over unpaid wages and world football's governing body is expected to rule on the matter later this month.
