Ghanaian striker Kenneth Asamoah has announced he wants to join newly-crowned Tanzanian league champions Young Africans.
Asamoah, joined the club last season but could not feature for them after failing to secure the International Transfer Certificate.
He was also being targeted by rival club Simba FC.
Young Africans officals have been working closely with his former club FK Jagodina of Serbia, for the past one year to solve the problem that forced him not to play for the Dar es Salaam team.
Yanga have been pursuing me since last year, it would be unfair to snub them for other teams, the player said shortly after arriving at the Julius Nyerere International Airport yesterday.
Asamoah, a former player of the defunct Tema Real Sportive, is expected to fill the void left behind by Mrisho Ngassa, who crossed over to big spenders Azam FC last season.
I am happy with the way Yanga handled the matter, they are very generous, said Asamoah, who featured for the team during their charity match against arch-rivals Simba, which they won 3-1 on penalties.
