Veteran Godwin Attram scored a 90th minute goal to secure a point for struggling Egyptian side FC Smouha in a one-all draw with Police Union on Monday night.
Smouha have little chances of survival as they lie at the foot of the table with 18 points with five matches remaining.
Ahmed Reda gifted Shortah a 20th minute lead after scoring an own-goal to put the Alexandria-based side in a vortex of despite.
But Attram scored a world class goal at the death of the game to ensure Smouha picked their first point in as many as six games.
Compatriot Samuel Afum lasted the entire duration of the game for Smouha.
Attram is fourth joint topscorer in the Egyptian Premier League with seven goals.
