Ghana striker Prince Tagoe is set to leave TSG Hoffenheim after the club signed Zimbabwe striker Knowledge Musona from Kaizer Chiefs.
Tagoe’s future has been speculated since returning from loan at Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade and Musona’s arrival is an indication that the lanky forward will be sold.
Hoffenheim announced a few ago ago they rejected 500, 000 Euros from an unnamed Turkish side.
The 2010 Fifa World Cup player had his much-publicized move to Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders due to his financial demands.
Sounders said they could not afford the U$ 200,000 a week wages.
Musona, 21, finished top scorer in the South African Premier Soccer League last season with 15 goals.
He has signed a five-year deal and joins for an undisclosed fee, with Chiefs announcing the news at a press conference in Johannesburg on Thursday.
