Asante Kotoko defender Ofosu Appiah is expected to sign for newly-promoted South African side Jomo Cosmos, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The centre-back has been touted as a possible replacement for Ousame Berthe, who is strongly tipped to join an unnamed French club.
But the 22-year-old must convince Comos head coach Jomo Sono on trial.
Appiah fell out with the 21-time Ghanaian champions last season after he accused some management members of taking monies to fix a league match.
He joined Kotoko two seasons ago from local Premier League side Heart of Lions.
Appiah should be available for the Ezenkosis when they begin their Premier Soccer League season at Kaizer Chiefs on 13 August.
