The Black Stars will begin camping on Monday in Accra ahead of next month’s double header against Swaziland and Brazil, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.
The selected 23-man squad will reside at the latest five-star Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in the central business district of Accra. The team will begin training on Tuesday at a yet-to-be named venue.
The Ghana FA says all required arrangements have been made to ensure victory for the side. “Camping begins on Monday at the Movenpick Hotel,” Ghana FA president Kwasi Nyantakyi told Ghanasoccernet.com.
“These two matches are of utmost importance to us and therefore all arrangements have been made to ensure that we win the matches.” Ghana will engage Swaziland in a 2012 Nations Cup qualifier on Friday 2 September before playing Brazil three days later in London in an international friendly.
Ghanasoccernet.com understands three players John Pantsil, Albert Adomah and new Vitesse Arnhem signing Anthony Annan arrived last night via a British Airways flight.
More arrivals are expected on Monday night.
