Ex-Ghana captain has denied reaching a deal with Egyptian giants Zamalek over a possible transfer,Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 30-year-old admitted he and his representatives have held talks with the five-time African champions.
A official of the Cairo-based told Ghanasoccernet earlier on Sunday that they were close to stitching up a contract with Appiah.
But the midfielder has distanced himself from an imminent deal with coach Hassan Shehata�s side. �We have been in touch with Zamalek and other teams but nothing concrete has been agreed,� the ex-Juventus man told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Appiah has been shopping for a club since leaving Italian Serie A side Cesena last season.
