Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Asante says he will commit his international future to Burkina Faso if he does not get a call-up from Ghana.
The former Fetteh Feyenoord Academy graduate featured for Stallions in a 3-0 loss to South Africa in an international friendly last month but is still eligible to play for Ghana.
The two-time Burkina Faso league top scorer says he is considering switching allegiance for the West Africans.
I am a Ghana and still looking up to the chance to play for my nation. If it doesnt happen, I will play for Burkina Faso, he told MTNFootball.com.
I have played in the qualifiers for the Burkina Faso U23 and also played in last months international friendly against South Africa.
Asante scored 14 goals to win the top scorer award in Burkina Faso top flight league last season.
