Edubiase United striker Abdul-Basit Adam has joined United Arab Emirates side Sharjah on a three-year deal, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
Adam impressed on the team�s pre-season camping in Alexandria, Egypt in July.
The 18-year-old played the second half of the Ghana Premier League last season after an injury lay-off to score five goals.
�The terms were better and so we didn�t baulk in releasing him to Sharjah,� his local representative Alex Ackumey of Lexar Sports told GHANAsoccernet.com
�He is young and we expected him to be well developed after his contract.�
Sharjah finished 7th on the UAE Pro league last season.
