Rennes defender John Boye has revealed he is making good progress from a thigh problem that has ruled him out of action for over a month.
The 24-year-old suffered a thigh injury during Rennes’ 1-1 draw with Saint Etienne at the Route de la Lorient in September.
Boye has started running and will start kicking next week.
The centre-back told GHANAsoccernet.com: “I am going through recovery smoothly. I have started running and will start kicking the ball next week.”
“Hopefully, in two weeks time, I will be back to action.”
Boye had tie down a starting role at Rennes starting in four out of six domestic games before the setback.
