Three Ghanaians were named in Caf’s ten-man shortlist for the African Player of the Year award.
Striker Asamoah Gyan, winger Andre Ayew and controversial Kevin Prince-Boateng were among the players named.
But the shortlisting of Boateng has sparked some controversy with some saying he is no longer a Ghanaian after retiring from the Black Stars.
But the midfielder has beeen in good form for AC Milan, winning the league title in Italy but did not play much for Ghana this year.
Where do you stand?
Do you think Kevin Boateng deserves his African Player of the Year nomination?
Or do you think he shouldn’t have been nominated because he retired from the Black Stars?
