Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey is delighted with his resurgence in the Ghana Premier League.
The 24-year-old has rediscovered his form and grabbed a brace as his side crushed AshantiGold 4-0 at the Golden City Park.
Clottey had not scored by the first four fixtures and had been a shadow of a man who scored 15 goals last season.
The 2004 Ghana Premier League top scorer is excited at his recent rich vein of form.
“I thank God we are winning and I’m scoring too. The team is playing well and that is how things should go. Hopefully, I should be at my best before the season ends,” Clottey said.
Clottey has now scored five goals and is now the third joint top scorer on the chart.
