Ghana have arrived in Malabo ahead of their Nations Cup third-place playoff against Mali on Saturday. All but two players- captain John Mensah and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu-failed to make the short trip from the Port City of Bata.
The duo is rather headed for Libreville where further tests will be conducted on their injuries.
Ghana suffered a shocking 1-0 loss to Zambia in the semi final on Wednesday in Bata and will now have to settle for bronze. The Black Stars beat Mali 2-0 at the Group stage with goals from Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew in Franceville.
The Eagles were beaten 1-0 by favourites Ivory Coast in Libreville in the second semi-final clash.
