Ghana striker Prince Tagoe could re-join former club Al Shabab in a move to revive his career, Ghanasoccernet.com has learnt.

The former Partizan Belgrade striker is keen to rediscover his form after his career went from bad to worse since he failed to make the cut at German outfit 1899 Hoffenheim.

He has lost his place in the Black Stars due to his unimpressive performances at the 2012 African Cup of Nations staged in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Reports say Al Shabab is keen to offer Tagoe a career lifeline following a turbulent season with Turkish side Bursaspor.

He has played just 11 times and scored only once which has prompted the 26-year-old to consider a move to the Gulf to seek fresh challenge.

Tagoe raked in 16 goals in 25 matches for the Saudi Arabia-based side during the 2006/07 season which resulted in a big money move to Ettifag the following year.

“Al Shabab wants him back and that might present a good opportunity for him,” a source close to the player is quoted by the 90 Minute newspaper.

“He has not been on top form in Turkey and so if a move to Saudi could get him back on track, why not?
